Snorkeling Trips
Visit the surrounding islands of the Adang Archipelago and explore deserted beaches, snorkel in crystal clear waters before relaxing on the beach.
We organize daily snorkeling trips going either to the Inner Islands either to Far Islands. You can join our scheduled trips and share a boat with other guests or you can charter your own private boat with driver. Our boat-captains know the best snorkeling spots, they will bring you to hidden beaches and show you all the special sites of our National Park.
Boats are for 1 to 8 persons. We provide life-jackets, snorkeling gear, lunch, fruits and drinking water for the day. The trip starts at 9 am and you will come back to Lipe around 4.30 pm.
What are the Inner Islands all about ?
Koh Hin Ngam
with its black stones beach offers one of the best snorkeling spot of the Inner Islands. Hard coral reef with colorful fishes and some very special pipefish (a relative of seahorses).
Jabang
is a submerged shallow pinacle covered with incredible soft corals. Swim on the surface to observe schools of fusilier swimming around or freedive to get a closer look at the lion fishes hanging in the soft coral. Next on the list is
Koh Yang
and its paradise beaches of white sand for a chill out break under the shadow.
Adang
is the biggest island around Lipe, it has many small sheltered bays with shallow reefs and an outstanding diversity of marine life.
Rawi
hosts a National Park Ranger Station where monkeys are often playing on the beach. On the way back to Lipe, we stop at
Koh Kra
a tiny island close to Sunrise Beach with an animated colorful rocky reef.
There is a 35 minutes longtail boat drive to the Inner Islands.
During this trip, we take it easy and you have plenty of time to explore the vibrant reefs or to relax on the beach.
What are the Far Islands all about ?
Far Islands is a group of small unoccupied islands with hundred of beaches looking like the ones you see on postcards!
Hin Son
is a particular rock formation with a very shallow and colorful soft coral reef.
In Bulo
there is a sheltered bay perfect for snorkelers. Lots of different types of anemone fish (Nemo), schools of moon wrasses or sergeant major are swimming nearby, parrot fish and moorish idol are never far away.
Koh Lokoi
features a tiny restaurant on the rocks and some very pretty hard coral reefs.
In Koh Pung
you might experience the best snorkeling ever : giant pufferfish, porcupine fish, anemone fish, yellow cornet fish, moray eels, … all of them swim nearby the outstanding pristine soft coral reefs. And not to forget Monkey Beach on
Koh Dong
this is a must-stop for some monkey fun. During this trip, we take it easy and you have plenty of time to explore the vibrant reefs, we stop on a deserted white sandy beach at lunch time.
There is a 50 minutes longtail boat drive to the far Islands.
Prices
Please note that you need the receipt of the national park entrance fee in order to join the trip. If you can’t provide it, you will be asked to purchase a new ticket. There are regular checks made by the authorities.

Inner Islands (program A): 600 baht per person. It includes : lunch, water, lifejacket, snorkeling gear.
Far Islands (program B): 700 baht per person. It includes : lunch, water, lifejacket, snorkeling gear

Private boat to the Inner Islands for max. 8 pers : 1800 baht : boat rental for up to 6 persons with captain and life jackets. (7th and 8th persons : +300 baht each)

If you would like to book a private snorkeling trip, you can add it on the room-booking form.
Only boat rental will be charged on the booking form. Mask rental and lunch set can be arranged at the resort. We will contact you to set up the date and all the details. If you stay in an other resort but would like to join our trips, come to visit us on Lipe.
